Ms Selena is one of our senior volunteers with a heart as big as the ocean. She has engaged others in her community to help the homeless and even comes to The UpLift Center herself to help with prep and lending a hand when ever she can. Thanks to volunteers like this, we have donations available every month to give a ray of hope to those that need to know that someone cares.
Ms Kay and Ms Aya are in a community choir that helps in more ways than just singing. These ladies have volunteered on a number of occasions with sorting clothes donations and giving hope to our homeless with there beautiful smiles.
Thanks to our sisters for joining us monthly and giving time, talents and finances to support this Give Hope movement. We rotate volunteers based on the need for any given month. Some groups designate captains as the contact person for the FCMI staff to communicate our monthly needs. Join us, cal us or email and see how you can sign up to be a Give Hope Partner In Action as well.
Our team of dedicated volunteers make the difference in all that we do. Without the help of community groups, fraternities, sororities, private businesses, stores, and just great neighbors, we would not be able to help the hundreds that have come to FCMI for assistance.
We are determined to make an impact in our communities across AZ and other states. Part of the Give Hope charter is to open Give Hope branches across the Phoenix Metro Area and use our central location as a Training Grounds benchmark for other communities to do the same. Our model is simple yet effective in bringing people of all races and backgrounds as well as varying economic levels together to make a change for the lives of those less fortunate.
